- Hold the barbell end at your chest and face a stable platform.
- Place one foot completely on the platform and brace your core.
- Drive through the elevated foot to stand on the platform.
- Step down slowly and repeat before switching legs.
- Sit against a bench with the padded barbell resting across your hips.
- Plant your feet firmly and brace your upper back against the bench.
- Drive through your heels and extend your hips upward.
- Squeeze your glutes, then lower your hips under control.
