• Start with the plate at chest height. Begin a squat.
Make sure to hit parallel depth. On your way back up, use the momentum you generate with your legs to help push the plate into an overhead position.
Let the plate return to chest height before initiating the next squat.
  • Start in a plank position. Hold one dumbbell.
Raise the dumbbell straight out in front of you (I), at a 45 degree angle (Y), out to the side (T), and then bend at the elbow while raising (W).
Going through IYTW counts as one rep.
Make sure to keep your hips stable. If you're unable to, try performing this exercise from the knees.
  • Start by setting up the TRX straps to a secure anchor point and adjust the straps so that they hang about waist height when you stand under them.
Stand facing the TRX straps, grab the handles with both hands, and step forward so that your body is in a plank position with your hands directly beneath your shoulders.
Lower your body down by bending your elbows until your chest nearly touches the handles. Keep your core tight and your body in a straight line.
Push your body back up to the starting position, straightening your arms as you do so. Make sure to engage your chest, triceps, and core throughout the movement.
  • Start facing the landmine on one knee with your other foot in front of you while holding the barbell in one hand at your shoulder on the same side as the knee that is on the ground.
Drive the bar upwards while keeping your elbow pointed forward until your arm holding the bar is fully extending, then control the bar as your lower it back to the starting position.
Repeat for desired number of reps, then switch sides.
