• Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and facing forwards. Grip the sides of a weight plate with your palms facing down.
    Balance on one foot, as you raise the weight keep your arms and back straight, while you bring your other foot back towards the ground
    Keep four raised leg straight and in alignment with your back as you lower the plate back down to the starting position.
  • Engage your core and straighten your legs to lift the plate off the ground.
    Stand on one leg, keeping the other leg off the ground, while holding the plate in front of your body.
    Keep your back straight and maintain a neutral head position while looking straight ahead.
    Lower the plate back down to the ground while keeping your balance on one leg.
  • Loop the band around a sturdy anchor point such as a weightlifting rack or a door handle.
    Lie on your back with your heels placed inside the band. Make sure the band is centered under your heels and your feet are hip-width apart.
    Using your hamstrings, curl your heels towards your glutes while keeping your hips on the ground.
  • Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding a weight plate.
    Place one foot slightly behind the other, with the heel of your back foot elevated.
    From this starting position, bend at the hips and knees to lower the plate towards the ground, keeping your back straight and your core engaged.
    Once the plate is below your knees, drive through your heels to stand back up to the starting position.
