• Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding a dumbbell in both hands.
Bend your knees slightly and hinge at the hips to swing the dumbbell between your legs.
From this starting position, explosively extend your hips and swing the dumbbell up to chest height.
Allow the momentum of the swing to carry the dumbbell back down between your legs, and then repeat the movement for the desired number of repetitions.
  • Start in a tabletop position with your hands and knees on the floor.
Step your right foot forward, placing it between your hands.
Straighten your right leg and flex your toes towards your face, keeping your hands on the floor for support.
Hold for several breaths, then switch sides and repeat.
  • Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you.
Inhale and lengthen your spine, then exhale and fold forward from your hips, keeping your spine long.
Reach for your feet or ankles, keeping your elbows straight.
Hold for several breaths, then release.
  • Begin in Tadasana (Mountain Pose).
Step your left foot back about 3-4 feet and place your heel down, keeping your toes pointing forward.
Inhale and lengthen your spine, then exhale and fold forward from your hips, bringing your hands to the floor on either side of your right foot.
Hold for several breaths, then switch sides and repeat.
