• Engage your core and straighten your legs to lift the plate off the ground.
    Stand on one leg, keeping the other leg off the ground, while holding the plate in front of your body.
    Keep your back straight and maintain a neutral head position while looking straight ahead.
    Lower the plate back down to the ground while keeping your balance on one leg.
  • Stand facing the plate with your feet shoulder-width apart and the plate positioned between your feet.
    Bend down and grasp the plate from the top edges with both hands, making sure your thumbs and fingers are evenly spaced.
    Keep your back straight, chest up and core engaged, and stand up with the plate, keeping it close to your body.
    Lower the plate back down to the ground, keeping control and maintaining good posture.
  • Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding a weight plate.
    Place one foot slightly behind the other, with the heel of your back foot elevated.
    From this starting position, bend at the hips and knees to lower the plate towards the ground, keeping your back straight and your core engaged.
    Once the plate is below your knees, drive through your heels to stand back up to the starting position.
