- Start by sitting on a bench with a barbell resting on your knees. Your feet should be flat on the ground, about hip-width apart.
- Place your hands on the barbell for support, and lift your heels off the ground.
- Hold this position for a moment, then slowly lower your heels back to the ground.
- Stand tall with your feet on the ground. You can put the the balls of your feet on top of a plate to extend the range of motion.
- Imagine you have a string attached to your heels and pull your heels up toward the ceiling.
- Standing straight with a kettlebell in one hand, lift the opposing foot off the floor.
- Raise your heel upwards while keeping your knees stationary.
- Pause when your heels are fully extended and then slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
