• Lay on your side on an incline bench. Brace yourself by holding onto the bench.
    While keeping your elbow mostly extended, raise the dumbbell to the side.
    The end of the range of motion is when the dumbbell is pointed toward the ceiling.
    Make sure you don't flex and extend your elbow.
  • Stand with feet shoulder width apart holding a kettlebell with one hand at your side.
    Keeping your arm straight, swing the kettlebell up and out, away from your body to around head height.
    Return to the starting position and repeat.
  • Begin by sitting on the ground with your legs extended and a barbell in your hands, with your palms facing forward and your elbows bent.
    Keeping your core engaged and your back straight, lift the barbell up from your chest and press it straight up above your head.
    Lower the barbell back down to your chest.
