- Take a half kneeling stance. The dumbbell should start over your knee that is up.
- Rotate at the spine and point the dumbbell to the opposing side.
- Stand with your feet on a plate. Your feet should be very close to one another, but not touching.
- Begin your squat by pushing your hips back and breaking at the knees. Try to keep your chest tall while squatting.
- Start by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Place one foot slightly behind the other, with the heel of your back foot elevated on a step or weight plate.
- From this starting position, bend at the hips and knees to lower the dumbbells towards the ground, keeping your back straight and your core engaged.
- Once the dumbbells are below your knees, drive through your heels to stand back up to the starting position.
- Start by standing with your feet wider than shoulder-width apart and holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Place the dumbbells on the ground between your feet.
- From this starting position, bend your knees and lower your body down into a squat.
- Make sure to keep your core engaged and your back straight throughout the movement.
