- Stand with feet hip-width apart, barbell over midfoot. Grip the bar wide (outside shoulders), hook grip recommended.
- Keep chest up, back straight, and drive through heels to lift the bar off the ground, keeping it close to your body.
- As the bar reaches mid-thigh, explode upwards by extending hips, knees, and ankles, shrugging shoulders and pulling the bar high.
- Drop under the bar slightly, catching it overhead with arms locked out. Stand up fully to complete the lift.
- Begin by standing with your feet on a plate and holding a barbell in the crook of your arms, near your belly. Your palms should be facing towards your body.
- Step back with one foot off the plate and lower your back knee to the floor.
- Push through your front leg and bring your back foot to the plate.
- Set up a bar at mid way up your quad. Place the working leg against the bar.
- Place one foot behind. You should only be on your toes on that back foot. Your front foot should be planted flat the entire time.
- Bend your back knee and push your hips back. Look for a stretch in your front hamstring.
- When you feel the stretch, push your hips forward again until you're back in a standing position.
