• Face the opposite direction on the treadmill.
    Hold on to the arms to find your balance.
    Walk backwards pushing your toes through the front of your shoes.
  • Start with a shoulder width stance.
    Stay on your toes, step right, tap your left toe to the ground, plant your right foot and raise your left leg.
    Then repeat in the opposite direction.
  • Stand upright, feet together, facing forward, ready to move laterally.
    Move right foot behind left, then step left foot to the side.
    Alternate crossing and stepping, increase speed, maintain rhythm and balance.
  • Stand straight, feet hip-width apart, engage core.
    Lift knees alternately, tap with same side hand.
    Continue rhythmically, maintain posture, increase speed as able.
